We were lucky to catch all the action in person and had the opportunity to ask quarterback Cam Ward about his ability to connect with 9 different receivers during the game. He emphasized, 'It's a key for us every week; you can't be one-dimensional in college football. Checking it down to Dame (Damien Martinez) was crucial—he was explosive in the pass game as well. If you constantly get first downs and focus on that, you'll eventually score some points.' His insight reflects the team’s strategic approach and the versatility of their offense.
