Saturday’s Clemson game vs Virginia was nothing short of inconsistent and volatile. Before the  game the tigers honored coach C.J. Spiller for his past time with the Clemson tigers. C.J. Spiller had a significant impact on Clemson football during his time with the team from 2006 to 2009. He was an electrifying running back and kick returner known for his speed and playmaking ability. Spiller set several school records, including career all-purpose yards and touchdowns. He was also a key player in helping Clemson achieve national recognition and success during his time. His performance earned him numerous accolades, including being named a unanimous All-American in 2009.

This game had countless up’s and down’s, the tigers fortunately secured a victory in the final seconds of regulation. Phil mafah helped the tigers succeed this evening having 78 yards and 2 touchdowns. Following phils successes was tight end Olsen Patt-Henry scoring 2 touchdowns and receiving 78 yards aswell. These touchdowns helped the tigers succeed gracefully this evening.

A very slow starting game this evening with a 1st quarter score of 3-3. The tigers have an average of 14.28 points in the first quarter this season. It was safe to say the tigers had a delayed start in this game. With the first quarter nearing completion Cade throws a bad interception to give Virginia the ball starting the 4th quarter. This shifted the mood in Death Valley with the concern of losing this game.

Clemson then begins to achieve better results in the next couple of quarters scoring 35 points and holding the cavaliers to 7 points with the help of Mafah and Pat-Henry and the entire defensive guys like Barrett Carter and Peter Woods holding the cavaliers on 3rd down. Emotions were high and bench players are put in to conclude this game. Clemson being ranked 10th in the nation is looking to enhance their rankings after this win against Virginia. The tigers haven’t lost to Virginia in over 20 years and today won’t be the day that streak ends. Additionally the tigers add on to their 7 Home game win streak and make it 8.

This season, Clemson football has been incredibly dominant at home, showing their strength and skill against every opponent that stepped onto their home field. The team's defense has been nearly impossible to fight through, and their offense has consistently put up impressive numbers. Fans have cheerfully watched as Clemson has maintained a solid winning streak at home this season, making Death Valley a fortress that visiting teams struggle to conquer. The Tigers' home performance this season truly highlights their Grit and determination to stay on top.
