The Florida Atlantic Owls made a statement in Boca Raton, rolling past Florida A&M with a commanding 56–14 victory. FAU’s offense was on fire all game, piling up explosive plays both through the air and on the ground, while the defense kept the Rattlers contained for most of the night. With the win, the Owls showed their depth, discipline, and big-play ability, setting the tone for the rest of the season in front of their home crowd.

Dom Henry of FAU started the scoring, catching a 24-yd pass from Caden Veltkamp for 6. Following that. Kaden Shields-Dutton ran in for a successful 2 point conversion. Florida A&M goes 3 and out and go for the punt but Josh Roberts blocks the punt and Lawrence Johnson falls on the ball in the endzone for a touchdown!

After that, it is all Owls until the 3rd Quarter where FAMU gets a 30 yard touchdown making the score 39-7 in favor of FAU. The Owls scored another touchdown but FAMU followed back with a touchdown of their own. The Owls drive down the field and with a good catch from Branden Hoch giving them good field position. Now at the one, Veltkamp hands off to Kaden Shields-Dutton to make the score 53-14! Last score of the game is a 48 yard field goal from Garrison Smith. Final score 56-14 FAU.
