The Miami Hurricanes left no doubt this past weekend as they improved to 3-0 with a commanding 49-12 victory over the 18th-ranked South Florida Bulls. From start to finish, the Canes controlled the game, overwhelming USF in all three phases and proving once again why they’re one of the most dangerous teams in the country.

Quarterback Carson Beck delivered his best performance yet in a Miami uniform, throwing for over 300 yards in his first milestone game with the Hurricanes. His poise and accuracy kept the offense rolling, while the ground game imposed its will. Running back Mark Fletcher had a breakout performance, rushing for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns at an impressive 7.5 yards per carry. Behind Miami’s dominant offensive line, the Bulls simply had no answer.

Defensively, Miami was just as sharp. The Hurricanes swarmed to the ball, forced 2 turnovers, and completely neutralized USF’s most dangerous weapon. Quarterback Byrum Brown, known for his ability to extend plays with his legs, was held to just 2 rushing yards—a testament to the discipline and speed of the Miami front seven.

With another statement win in the books, Miami now turns its attention to one of the most anticipated matchups of the season. This weekend, the Florida Gators come to Hard Rock Stadium in a clash for state bragging rights. Both teams will be fighting to prove who truly runs the Sunshine State, and the Hurricanes will look to stay sharp as they continue their push to win the battle of Florida.
