The Texas A&M Aggies have thrust themselves into the thick of the College Football Playoff discussion with a thrilling comeback victory over the LSU Tigers on Saturday night. Led by quarterback Marcel Reed, the Aggies showcased resilience, fighting back to secure a pivotal win that keeps them undefeated in SEC play.

With their sights set on a playoff berth, Texas A&M is eyeing a favorable schedule ahead. They stand a solid chance to win their next three contests, potentially setting the stage for a high-stakes rivalry showdown against the Texas Longhorns on Thanksgiving weekend. Both teams could enter that clash with just one loss, adding to the intensity of this storied rivalry.

While the SEC remains a battleground with several playoff contenders still vying for position, the Big Ten has solidified its landscape with four prominent teams in the mix, spearheaded by the top-ranked Oregon Ducks. Oregon was among the Top 25 teams that successfully navigated Week 9, putting pressure on the Big Ten as they prepare for an intriguing matchup in Week 10. The Penn State Nittany Lions and Ohio State Buckeyes will go head-to-head, each aiming to claim the title of the second-best team in the conference and solidify their own playoff aspirations.

Oregon is steadily establishing itself as the premier team in the nation, especially following its impressive victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes two weeks ago. The Ducks dominated Illinois at home, pushing their record to a perfect 8-0 and positioning themselves as frontrunners for the top ranking come December. In a display of sheer offensive firepower, Oregon outscored both Illinois and the Purdue Boilermakers by a staggering 73-9 over the past two weeks. Head coach Dan Lanning has his squad clicking on all cylinders, and with four unranked opponents remaining on their schedule, the Ducks are heavily favored in each matchup, including challenging road games against the Michigan Wolverines and Wisconsin Badgers. However, Oregon's most significant challenge awaits in the Big Ten Championship Game, which will provide a true litmus test for their playoff aspirations, with fans getting a clearer picture of their potential opponent next week when Ohio State takes on the Penn State Nittany Lions in a crucial showdown that could shape the playoff landscape.
