On Saturday, the SMU Mustangs made a statement in their trip to Death Valley, taking down the Clemson Tigers 35-24 to improve to 3-0 in ACC play. The Mustangs showed poise and balance on both sides of the ball to hand Clemson a rare home defeat.

Quarterback Kevin Jennings continued his strong play, leading the Mustangs’ offense with confidence and efficiency. Jennings threw for 290 yards and two touchdowns, consistently delivering accurate throws in key moments and keeping Clemson’s defense on its heels. With the victory, SMU improves to 5-2 overall and a perfect 3-0 in ACC play, continuing to build momentum on the season in the conference. Clemson, meanwhile, drops to 2-3 in league play and will look to regroup heading into the back half of the season.

SMU will go on the road next weekend for another key ACC matchup as they look to keep their conference title hopes alive.
